For Ann Marie’s Chicago Brand Photography September shoot, we focused on all of the things that make the turning of the season SO SPECIAL! Who doesn’t LOVE chocolate chip cookies, pajamas, and super cozy end-of-summer outfits??
Ann Marie is one of my brand membership clients located in Chicago’s North Shore. Something we chatted about from the very beginning was how to show diversity in her photos while really driving home her brand image. In the past, she had trouble keeping her imagery consistent. One way that we keep it consistent in our shoots is by sticking with a color pallet! Now, I’m definitely not saying that you have to wear only one color in all of your photos… this isn’t a 1995 family photo here folks! Think of using your color palette more like a driving force.
Keep Your Chicago Brand Photography Relevant With Your Color Pallet!
Sticking with your color pallet is all about creating a certain VIBE and a general feeling. For instance, Ann Marie’s brand colors are salmon and blue, so we tend to stay in that color family (aside from the holidays, OF COURSE where things tend to get a bit more vibrant). PS: If you want to check out Ann Maries Holiday photos you can see them here! For non-holiday shoots, we choose outfits, props, and locations that lend well to the colors in her palette.
Keeping with the same general, complimenting colors will help your personal brand photos be a little more consistent without being too much! This session was all about the transition from summer to fall. We focused on being cozy with pajamas, Ann Marie’s favorite chocolate chip cookie recipe, and fall skincare & wardrobe. By the way, if you want to pick up her cookie recipe, you can grab it right here!
